With both of their centers currently battling injuries, the New Jersey Nets on Monday signed Mikki Moore.
Terms of the deal were not revealed and the Nets waived forward Damone Brown to open a roster spot for Moore.
The 7-foot Moore was in training camp with the Seattle SuperSonics, but was waived before the season. In eight games with Roanoke of the NBDL, Moore averaged 208.8 points and a league-leading 9.8 rebounds.

The 28-year-old Moore spent most of last season in the NBDL and appeared in
eight games with the Atlanta Hawks, averaging 2.3 points and 1.0 rebound. In
150 games with Detroit, Boston and Atlanta, Moore has averaged 4.6 points and
3.3 boards.
On Saturday, center Jason Collins played just nine minutes before leaving with a bruised right knee as the Nets lost, 92-87, at Milwaukee. Forward-center Aaron Williams did not play due to a pulled groin.
New Jersey (13-13) lost in the NBA Finals in each of the last two seasons and signed seven-time All-Star center Alonzo Mourning over the summer. Mourning played in 12 games before a kidney disorder that sidelined him last season deteriorated. He underwent a transplant last Friday.
